Super Couple: Travel around 25 countries with tea shop income in 14 years
The Kerala couple has amazed around 25 countries in almost 14 years with their tea shop income. Everyone has a desire to go abroad in life and explore all the places there. But every family will not be able to go even to a place next to their hometown due to their economic situation. But this super couple is traveling around the world with their tea shop income as poverty is not an obstacle to all our happiness and our dream is to take us to the path of success.
KR Vijayan, 71, and Mohana, 69, run a tea shop in Gandhinagar, Cochin, Kerala. Both of them have had a desire to travel the world since childhood, but money has been a barrier to this. It was in this context that Vijayan started a tea shop in 1963 and decided that he could travel around the world with the proceeds. For this they did not employ anyone in their shop. In this shop they are the bosses, they are the workers. Thus they took care of the family in their tea shop income and started saving a portion of it for their tour. Little by little the amount they put together is now fulfilling their dream. The Vijayan-Mohana couple has been flying around the world since 2007 after taking short breaks from work every year.
Vijayan says we have flown to countries including Singapore, Switzerland, New York, Brazil, Argentina and Peru, have been able to get to know different cultures around the world and thus have a hope in life. The tour between our countries of the world in the last 14 years is not over yet.
